MOVEMENT IS FOR EVERYONE
Accessibility Statement
Movli wants parents and children with different abilities to use the website, app and purchase flow. We are working towards WCAG 2.2 Level AA and applicable European Accessibility Act requirements under Directive (EU) 2019/882.
Last updated: 6 June 2026
Status: partially conformant. The service has not yet had a complete independent audit, and some app components and media may still present barriers. We state this plainly rather than claiming full conformance prematurely.
1. Scope
This statement covers movliacademy.com, the Movli mobile app and digital subscription and payment information controlled by Movli. External payment and app-store interfaces are controlled by Apple or Google, but accessibility is a criterion when we select and configure integrations.
A parent creates an account and child profile, selects a language and chooses a short movement session. The app guides the child using visible and spoken instructions and, where enabled, records limited progress for the parent. Premium access is selected on a subscription screen and paid for through the device’s app store.
2. What we support
- Semantic headings, logical reading order and keyboard operation on the website.
- Visible focus, sufficient colour contrast, scalable text and understandable labels.
- Accessible names, roles, states and touch targets in the mobile app.
- Information that does not rely on colour, sound or motion alone.
- Clear purchase information, errors and opportunities to review input.
- Short plain-language instructions and alternatives for relevant audio or video information where needed.
3. Known limitations
- Not all session videos yet have complete captions, transcripts or audio description.
- Use with every combination of screen reader, large text and older device has not been fully tested.
- Some movement activities are inherently not possible for every child; where feasible, we intend to provide equivalent variations and clear guidance.
- Third-party content, including app-store and payment interfaces, may contain limitations Movli cannot independently correct.
4. Assessment and improvement
This statement is based on an internal review of design, code and content. Accessibility is included in design and development, key flows are tested with keyboard and assistive technology, and issues blocking accounts, information or payment are prioritised.
We reassess core flows with releases. A formal external audit is planned once the service and session library are stable enough for representative testing.
5. Feedback and assistance
If you cannot use information or a function, email hello@movliacademy.com with the page or screen, your device and what happened. You do not need to disclose your disability. We will acknowledge feedback within 5 working days and aim to provide a fix or accessible alternative within 20 working days.
You may request information in another accessible digital format at no additional charge.
6. Applicable rules
Since 28 June 2025, e-commerce services are covered by accessibility requirements under the European Accessibility Act and national implementing law where applicable to Movli. The Directive includes an exemption for microenterprises providing services. Accessible design remains our standard even where an exemption applies.
